Method:

[hide_me] 1. Pair your headset, make a test call to see if it works. End the call normally.
2. Dial *#307#, press call.
3. Press the answer button twice with 2 seconds delay in your bluetooth headset (If you don't do this correctly, you will continue to listen the ringtone in headset)
4. Press answer on iPhone.
5. Press the home button, do NOT end the call.
6. Open iPod and play a song, you won't get sound from iPhone, nor headset.
7. Once it is playing, press the home button.
8. Open phone.
9. Dial 0, press Call.
10. It will ring again, answer.
11. Press audio source, select your headset.
12. Press home button, do NOT end call. (we're almost there)
13. Open iPod and play anything you like.

Shorter Way:

1. *#307# Dial, press the bluetooth headset button twice.
2. Answer on iPhone, press source.
3. Select bluetooth headset.
4. Press home button, open iPod, play anything.

Now, you will get iPod playing through your bluetooth headset.

How to Rip DVD and Convert Video for Blackberry

“Blackberry is a line of wireless handheld devices that was introduced in 1999 as a two-way pager. In 2002, the more commonly known smartphone Blackberry was released, which supports push e-mail, mobile telephone, text messaging, internet faxing, web browsing and other wireless information services as well as a multi-touch interface.”

In daily life, people not only regard it as a phone to communicate, but also a multimedia to enjoy songs and videos. How to put dvd and video on Blackberry? This is a tough question for some people. They have interest to get the answer, but not all the people do.
If you have such a chance to read my article, you will have an opportunity to enjoy dvds and videos on your Blackberry.

In the following text, I will explain the process into two parts:
1. How to put dvd on Blackberry
2. How to put video on Blackberry

To complete this process, I need a tool called 4Videosoft DVD to Blackberry Suite

Part 1: How to put dvd on Blackberry with DVD to Blackberry Converter
Step 0: Download and install 4Videosoft DVD to Blackberry Converter

Step 1: Import DVD.
Place the DVD into your DVD drive and click the “Load DVD” button to load DVD.

Step 2: Video settings.
Select the output video format you want from the “Profile” drop-down list.

Step 3: Place video
Click “Open Folder” button to open your output destination file.

Step 4: Start conversion
Click the “Start” button to start your conversion and in a short while it will be finished.

Part 2: How to put video on Blackberry with BlackBerry Video Converter

Step 0: Download and install 4Videosoft Blackberry Video Converter
When you finished the download process, run the .exe file to install it.

Step 1: Click “Add files” button to import videos.

Step 2: Extend the "Profile" category to select an output format.

Step 3: Click “Open Folder” button to open your output destination file.

Step 4: Click the “Start” to convert.

Tips----- Basic functions for all the 4videosof:

1. How to change your video effect
If you want to adjust the effect of your movie, please click the “Effect” button and a pop-up effect window will appear. It allows you to edit your movie’s effect including “Brightness, Contrast, Saturation and Volume”.

2: How to crop off the black edges and adjust the size of video play region
By using the "Crop" function you can crop off the black edge of your video and you can also drag the line around the video image to adjust the video play region to fit for your mobile devices

3: How to split your video
The "Trim" function also servers as a video splitter for you to get any time-length video episode. You can set the "Start Time" and "End Time" to set the exact time-length of the clip or you can directly drag the slide bar to the position you want.

4: How to join the videos
If you would like to put several files into one output file, please tick the check box of the “Merge into one file”.

5: How to save your favorite picture
If you like the current image when preview video, you can use the "Snapshot" option. Just click the "Snapshot" button, the image will be saved and you can click the "Open" button next to "Snapshot" button to open your picture.

By the way, I also find useful tools for sony fans to enjoy videos on their players.

Description
Blueprinting is a method to remotely find out details about bluetooth-enabled devices.
Blueprinting can be used for generating statistics about manufacturers and models and
to find out whether there are devices in range that have issues with Bluetooth security.

Every bluetooth-enabled device has some characteristics that are either unique (Blue-
tooth device address), maufacturer specific (the first part of the bluetooth device ad-
dress) or model-specific (service description records).
Blueprinting is combining the
different information that Bluetooth-enabled devices reveal in order to determine the
manufacturer as well as the model of the device. Upon different characteristics it is
also possible to tell about the respective firmware version that runs on certain devices.

Every Bluetooth-enabled device that offers services to other Bluetooth-enableddevices
does announce these services via the service discovery protocol (SDP). So, remote de-
vices can query devices upon the offered capabilities

Bluefish constantly scans for Bluetooth-enabled devices, such as phones, PDA’s,
and wireless peripherals. When a new device is found, Bluefish takes a picture of the

the device. If the device is ever discovered again, the user will be sent the last image
captured of them via Bluetooth. All images are tagged with the device’s name and the
time it was last observed.
Over time, a profile is built for each discovered device, making it possible to track

Step 1:
First of all you have to get the feed url of your Orkut profile by using orkutfeeds.com.
For this, just open your Orkut profile and copy the home page link
(for e.g. http://www.orkut.co.in/Main#Profile.aspx?uid=680615856595128230)

Step 2:
Now go to orkutfeeds.com and paste your Orkut profile link (already generated on step 1)..

After this, just hit the subscribe button and you’ll be provided with your Orkut profile feed url (In my case, it is http://www.orkutfeeds.com/feed.php?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.orkut.co.in%2FProfile.aspx%3Fuid%680615856595128230)

Step 3:
Also add “#both” at the end of the above URL so that you can get messages of the scrap as well.
Now my feed URL becomes http://www.orkutfeeds.com/feed.php?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.orkut.co.in%2FProfile.aspx%3Fuid%680615856595128230#both

Step 4:
Now go to Google SMS channels homepage and create a new channel as shown in the screen shot below. If you don’t have an account on SMS channels then create one by logging in with your Gmail password.

Step 5:
Fill all the required details and feed URL of your Orkut page (refer step 2) on the ‘RSS/Atom feed’ form and finally hit the ‘create channel’ button.

That’s it! Now you’ll be getting scrap notifications via SMS for life

Note: For this trick to work on locked scrapbooks, you must add this Orkutfeeds bot as your friend.

Scrap notification are delayed for 2-4 hours depending on the Google’s server traffic.

We have worked out to get full scrap messages as well, just follow the STEP 3 mentioned above

Overview: Kosovo: Can You Imagine? is about the Serbs that live in Kosovo and the lack of human rights that they have today, in the 21st century. Most of the Kosovo Serbs have been ethnically cleansed by the Albanians who make up the majority of Kosovo. Kosovo has been under UN administration since 1999 when NATO bombed Serbia for 76 days to halt a crackdown on ethnic Albanian separatism in its province of Kosovo. In the years following the war, thousands of Serbs were expelled from their homes, kidnapped and killed. Their houses, cultural and religious sites were burned and destroyed. Kosovo for the Serbs is what Jerusalem is for the Jewish people. It is the cradle of their statehood, culture and religion. Most of the important Serbian Christian Orthodox monasteries are in Kosovo. Today, Serbs still have a deep spiritual and traditional connection to Kosovo, a land which is being cleansed of everything Serbian. Most of the Kosovo Serbs are internally displaced, some of them live in small container camps, in ghettos, all this in the heart of Europe in the 21st century. We follow the stories of several Serbs who have fell victim to a nationalist and irredentist ideology that has a goal of creating a pure Albanian state of "Kosova" ("Kosovo" in Albanian) Serbs in Kosovo have no basic human rights. Description :
During its original broadcast, Ramayan was enormously popular, drawing over 100 million viewers. Its popularity reached a point where the entire nation of India "came to a virtual stop as nearly everyone who could gain access to a television stopped what they were doing to watch the televised adventures of Rama." In a phenomenon that the newsmagazine India Today dubbed "Ramayan fever," religious services (Hindu and non-Hindu) were rescheduled to accommodate the show's broadcast; trains, buses, and inner-city trucks stopped running when the show was on; and, in villages, hundreds of people would gather around a single television set to watch the show.

You might say that Verizon's brand new BlackBerry Tour 9630... ahem, took a "tour" through our offices this morning, gracing us with its QWERTY-having, global-roaming, 8800-killing presence. There's absolutely no question it's the best-looking CDMA BlackBerry to date and we also think you'll be able to stop Bold owners in their tracks as you flash this thing around town; we'd argue that the Curve 8900 is still a cuter handset when you take the company's lineup as a whole, but then again, the 8900 lacks 3G, and the Tour's keyboard might just be the best RIM's ever crafted for a phone. Bottom line, owners of any BlackBerry on Verizon or Sprint should be salivating at the site of this thing -- and if they're not, honestly, they need their salivary glands checked. Repairing A Corruptted MMC

Correct Treatment of your MMC:

Physically, memory cards are quite fragile pieces of high technology, susceptible to damage from various silly things like excessive heat, condensation, strong magnetic fields, physical damage from rough handling and/or bending! (similar to most electronic devices then..)

Given the natue of mobile memory card products, they are constantly being taken in and out of some form of interface with a mobile phone, a camera, a laptop, or desktop PC, or a separate memory card reader. The number of different devices they have to be able to interact with is in the thousands.

It is not too surprisingly, then that sometimes the state of the file system on the memory card can get damaged.

This may happen for a number of different reasons, including:

> removing the card from a device whilst an application is trying to read/write to it.. (Just be patient...)
> battery drain on a device whilst in use meaning an insufficent voltage failure whilst writing to the card.
> a poor implementation of the MMC standard on the device using the card
> poor connectivity software drivers on the device or the Windows PC/Mac
> physical damage like card or device being dropped, bent, getting wet etc...
> lots of others i am sure..

As often as not, the problem is not terminal for your memory card, but just a software issue ( or in physical terms, it could be called "a temporary disalignment of the all the bits and bytes on the card").

The fix for this problem is the same as for any other file storage device (like a floppy or hard drive) with corrupt or invalid file system, namely; re-format the file system.

Re-Formatting your MobyMemory MMC Card:

It is possible that your mobile will offer you the option of formatting the memory card if it is found to be invalid. (However, the likes of Nokia nGage, Nokia 6600, and Siemens Sx1 often just prefer to reject the media as corrupted).

In that case, to format the card, you will need access to one or more of the following:

> A Windows PC or Mac.
> A separate multi-format memory card reader (verify that it is compatible with the MultiMediaCard -MMC- standard).
> (This can come in USB or PCMCIA flavours. If USB, try and ensutre it is a USB2 device.
> Alternatively, many of the newest laptop and desktop PCs now come with integrated Multi-format memory card readers.
> If you are using a separate memory card reader, then connect it up to your PC, and let windows recgnize the device through plug-and-play.

Now you can insert your MobyMemory card into the appropriate slot in the memory card reader. (Please note that because the MMC card is pretty much symmetrical it is very easy to insert it upside-down in the slot).

Open up [Windows Explorer] (or the equivalent for MAC users..sorry not well-versed in OS X).

There should be at least one icon visible for a [Removable Drive] in the list of available drives. (in fact, there is often a list of about 5 or 6 Removable drives, one for each of the different Memory card formats that your reader is compatible with).

Find the drive that is mapped to the MMC card by clicking on each in turn until it confirms there is a drive present. (Sometimes it is easiest to do this by trying a fully-functional MMC card in the MMC slot first so you can confirm which drive letter it is.)

(NB. It will always be labelled as a [Removable Drive], don't mistake it for one of your PC hard drives like [C:] drive, as that could be catastrophic later on!)

At this stage it may give an error message saying that the drive is unreadable.

By right-clicking on the drive letter, it will provide the option of formatting the drive.

Select format the drive, and the [Format Drive] dialog will appear (Double-check again to make sure it not your [C:] drive!).

There is only one setting to focus on in this page, and that is to ensure that the FileSystem selected for formatting is the [FAT] option (not FAT32, or NTFS or any other option)

(Note: All mobile phones, to my knowledge, and most cameras (etc..) use the FAT file system (or at least are compatible with it) on their memory card media.)

Now click on Format Now ( ensure [Quick Format] is not selected as this will not actually restore the file system space byte by byte, but only resets the header information so the drive thinks its empty again. This may not be enought to solve your corruption problem.)

The PC will now - hopefully!- chug away happily until it has restored the memory card space back to its original configuration (of course, any information on there is long gone by now!).

If you recieve an error message back from the [Format Now] request, then your problem may be more permanent, and not just a software issue. In this case, it may still respond to a format request in a different memory card reader or device.

If you believe it to be a failure of manufacture, then the warranty on the card offers the prospect of a replacement card, subject to a confirmation of the fault upon return of the goods.

Global System for Mobile Communications

This is the most popular standard for mobile phones in the world. GSM service is used by over 6 billion people across more than 200 countries. The GSM standard makes international roaming pretty common between mobile phone service providers, enabling all their subscribers to use their cell phones in different parts of the world.

Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA)
CDMA is a form of multiplexing and a method of multiple access that does not divide up the channel by time, or frequency, but instead encodes data with a special code associated with each channel and uses the constructive interference properties of the special codes which can perform the multiplexing. CDMA also refers to digital cellular telephony systems that use this multiple access scheme. CDMA phones usually do not need a SIM card.

General Packet Radio Service (GPRS)

GPRS is a mobile data service available to subscribers of GSM mobile phones. GPRS data transfer is mostly charged per kilobyte (KB) of transferred data to and from the cell phone. GPRS is utilized for services such as Internet and MMS. In the future, it is still anticipated that low cost voice over IP will be made available in mobile phones.

Subscriber Identity Module (SIM)
SIM is a removable smart card that is used in the cell phone and was available in two standard sizes. Initially it was the size of a credit card, while its more popular and widely used mini version has a width of 25 mm.This has been adopted by most cell phone manufacturers. The SIM card securely stores a key code which identifies a mobile phone to its service provider.

Enhanced Data rates for GSM Evolution (EDGE)

EDGE is an enhancement to the GSM networks which makes use of theTDMA (Time Division Multiple Access) frame structure, logic channel and 200 KHz carrier bandwidth. EDGE is not only capable of providing three times the data capacity of GPRS but also has improved data transmission reliability. EDGE is employed for advanced mobile services that require high data transmission rate such as downloading of audio and video clips, high speed and quality Internet access etc, EDGE is classified as a 2.75G network technology.

Push-to-Talk (PTT)

PTT also known as Press-to-Transmit, is a method of conversing on half-duplex communication lines by making use of a momentary button to switch from voice reception mode to transmission mode. Some mobile operators offer the PPT service on mobile phones; it allows voice signals to be transmitted from one user to another on the system without the need of an established existing connection.

3G- 3rd Generation Technology

3G (or 3-G) is short for third-generation technology. It is used in the context of mobile phone standards. The services associated with 3G provide the ability to transfer simultaneously both voice data (a telephone call) and non-voice data (such as downloading information, exchanging email, and instant messaging). In marketing 3G services, video telephony has often been used as the killer application for 3G.

Worldwide roll-out of 3G networks was delayed in some countries by the enormous costs of additional spectrum licensing fees. In many parts of the world 3G networks do not use the same radio frequencies as 2G, requiring mobile operators to build entirely new networks and license entirely new frequencies; a notable exception is the United States where carriers operate 3G service in the same frequencies as other services. The license fees in some European countries were particularly high, bolstered by initial excitement over 3G’s potential.

Other delays were as a result of the expenses related to upgrading equipment for the new systems. Japan and South Korea were relatively quick to adopt 3G, because their governments prioritize technological infrastructure development, and spectrum licensing fees are minimal. Currently 3G compatible phones in are sold in India by Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Samsung etc, but currently no operators are providing their services based on 3G.

Security Genius For S60 3rd Edition

Security Genius" application is a value-added service on Nokia S60 3.0 platform. It can protect a mobile user from losing his/her phone just in case the phone is lost. For example, if a user has lost his /her phone and someone has picked up the phone. If another SIM card has plugged into in the phone, then a customized message will be automatically sent out to the pre-defined mobile numbers at the boot-up of the phone. In this case, the user can get to know the person's mobile number. For security reason, the application can ONLY be auto-started at the machine boot-up. Once the application is installed, a user cannot find it anywhere in the "My Own" or "Installed" folders. The main reason for this is that it prevents the phon- picker from un-installing the application and/or finding the existence of the application on the phone if the phone is lost. In order to enter the application, a user has to "dial" a password (which is defined by the application) plus a "#" character in the active idle screen. The default password is "123456", which means, if a user wants to enter the application, the user needs to input the following character sequence in the active idle screen (like the way a user gets the IMEI number):123456# Once the user has entered the application, the user has the freedom to change the password to any other ones (which consists of numeric numbers from "0" to "9"). Then length of the password should be no less than 6, and the maximum length is 10. Main

1?Phone security function
If this option is on, then a SIM card change event will trigger the sending of SMS to the specific mobile numbers. If this option is off, then even a SIM card change event happens, nothing will be done.

2?Security password
This is used to set the phone security password. The default password is "123456". A user may "dial" this number in the active idle screen to bring the app to the foreground. Please be noted that the application can ONLY be started at boot-up. If a user has changed the password to something else, then the user needs to "dial" the new password in order to get into the application. For example, if a user has changed the password to "456789", then in order to bring forward the application, a user has to "dial":456789#

3?Mobile number1
This is the mobile number used to send SMS to if there is SIM card change event happens and "Phone security function" is on. At each boot-up, a customized SMS message is sent to this number once only. In the next boot-up of the phone, the SMS will be sent again until the number of sent SMS has reached to the pre-defined maximum number of SMS. Please be noted that this number should be a mobile number.

?Mobile number 2
It works the same way as last item.

5?Phone security message
Define the customized SMS for sending to "Mobile number 1" and "Mobile number 2". The message length should not be longer than 140 characters.

6?Max number of SMS
Define the maximum number of SMS to be sent to "Mobile number 1" and "Mobile number 2". If a user has defined two valid mobile numbers in the number fields, then each of the number will receive half of this maximum number of SMS if a SIM card event happens.

7?Auto start enable
By default, this application is auto-started, and this is the ONLY way to get the app started. If a user turned this option to off, then this application will never have a chance to start it again unless the user re-install the application.
